Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you offer a free 20 minute call?

This call gives us a chance to meet so you can find out more about how homeopathy could help you and you can get your questions answered, as well as learning about how I work.

How long are appointments and how often will I need one?

An initial appointment is about 1½ hours. Follow-up appointments are about 40 minutes. Appointments are usually spaced about 5 weeks apart.

Who can benefit?

Anyone can benefit from homeopathy. From when your mother is pregnant with you until the end of your life, homeopathy is an amazing aid to being in the best health you can be.

How do I get my remedy?

I will send you a prescription for your remedy after the consultation, together with information about where you can purchase it.

Can I take homeopathy with conventional medication?

Yes. Homeopathy works well alongside mainstream healthcare programmes and medications. Homeopathic remedies do not interfere with the beneficial action of conventional medication. You will not be asked to come off prescribed medications. You may be advised periodically to go for additional health checks with your doctor to see if your medication is still required.

Do you provide a diagnosis?

No. Catrin Merlett is not a medical doctor, and Catrin Merlett Homeopathy is not intended to replace the care of your doctor. Homeopathy works with people, it does not treat diagnoses, and Catrin Merlett Homeopathy works with the person as a whole to help them to better health. It is fully the client’s choice whether or not they take advantage of the information presented. Catrin Merlett Homeopathy believes the advice and diagnosis of your doctor is often in order.
